After traveling along Australia’s eastcoast, we flew to Alice Springs to spend some time in the central Australian desert to see the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. From Alice Springs we took the ghan to Adelaide and made our way south to Kangaroo Island with a Wicked Camper. This was followed with a trip along the Great Ocean Road and some surfing in Torquay before we arrived in Melbourne.
This is my selection of photos on our way from Alice Springs to Melbourne.

It was an outstanding experience to walk around Uluru and to see how different the red rock looks from most photographs
Uluru from the distance. We experienced some of the rare cloudy days in the red center which made some of our hikes more bearable.
